Alumnus Dan Wissman recalls his experience at Meadowland: “I went to Meadowland when it opened. It was a bunch of us kids and Mr. Harlow that built the horse shoe shaped garden out front of the school. We all brought shovels and wheelbarrows and moved the dirt from the back of the school to the front. Mr. Harlow got the nursery on Harris Rd to donate the trees and shrubs, and it had a pond in the center with a bridge.”<\/p>\r\n
