Exhibits at the General Store

The Museum hosts both permanent and temporary exhibits, all located on the main level of the General Store building. Some of the attractions you can explore are:

Katzie Wapato

Buildings Through Time: Harris Road, Then and Now - the indoor walking tour of Harris Road

Fresh From the Block - a 1930-1950 era dairy barn

The George Doerksen Bug Collection - specimens from the collection of Pitt Meadows Entomologist George Doerksen

As well as a pioneer kitchen and parlour, a Miss Pitt Meadows Day and toys room and a General Store Corner.  Many of the exhibits are complemented by an assortment of Hand's-On activities or takeaway minibooks and worksheets.

In our temporary gallery area, the exhibit changes every one to two years.
