The Pitt Meadows Museum and Archives relies on the generosity of the community to donate items of historical importance. Anyone may offer an item to the Museum, however it is at the Museums discretion to add it into our permanent collection. Items collected may be used for exhibit, research or education programs. If you have an item you would like to donate, please read through the our artifact and archival donation page to assess if your item meets our criteria available here. If your object meets our criteria, please reach out either by phone or email to set up an appointment with the Museum.
The Museum welcomes gifts of goods and services, as well as cash donations. These donations, unless otherwise specified, are used for the general operations of the Museum.
The Museum Society is a registered charity and can write tax receipts for cash donations over $10.00, and for pre-appraised in-kind donations.
No individual representing the Pitt Meadows Museum and Heritage Society will solicite donations without the written consent of the Board of Directors or the Curator of the Museum.
