Davison Museum Site
One of the original buildings of the Pitt Meadows Heritage and Museum Society on Harris Road, this building unfortunately was torn down in 1995. The museum has had quite a few moves and following this building the society moved into a building on Davison Road, and then to its current location on Harris right beside the train tracks. The Society began in 1977 and was incorporated in 1980. It is the governing authority of the Pitt Meadows Museum and Archives, which includes both the Old General Store (1886 c.) site and the Hoffmann & Son Machine Shop (1936 c.) site, both located on Harris Road, South of the C.P.R. Tracks. Should you wish to support the society and the museum, take up a membership ($10) during opening hours at the museum!
