These photos were taken at the supper given in honour of Mr. Dave Jones' service to the community as member of the School Board for fourteen years. The event was held on February 4th at 8 p.m. in the Municipal Hall basement. The Pitt Meadows P.T.A (Parent-Teacher Association) and individual donors helped sponsor the appreciation night. Jones was responsible for many of the improvements in the school district. He was presented with four plaques. Three of the four plaques were to be presented annually to the student displaying the best citizenship qualities. The fourth plaque was given to Jones as a token of the P.T.A’s appreciation.
