This is the house I grew up in - 12389 Harris Rd. I heard at one time it was a school house. It was located between the Co-Op and Suzy Q diner and came with the gas station next door. My father, Dan Kubat, bought the gas station, but found it too difficult to pump gas and work on cars at the same time, so he stopped selling gas and focused on fixing cars. His shop was called 'Danny Motors'. I have included pictures of the house, my dad's shop and my dad carrying a pan of used oil (circa 1975?). There is also a picture of me with my soccer team on a Pitt Meadows Day Parade float my mom took in front of the Suzy Q. I have very fond memories of growing up in that house. I hope these pictures have some interest for you. Thanks! Mike Kubat
