This house was built in 1959 my dad (john hodgson) aka jack . My uncle tom hodgson ( his brother) and mr dorksen a family freind helped him build our home...my dad passed away in 2009 and my mum in 2016 we did sell our family home it got torn down last year. I grew up in pitt meadows with my brothers ed.. rob.. craig..i have lots of memories not alot of pictures... my dad raised the house at some point im not sure when... but my family knew the sharpes.. Montpelliers... ingrams.. reeves .beckets . thats the ones i can remember i moved to maple ridge in 2017.. i still drive threw pitt meadows ?? my dad was.a softball couch and part of the athlete association... he was married to my mum norma hodgson (hintion) my mum stayed in our home till 2015 when we had to put her in a nursing home.. was the hardest day of my life. Its very hard to see how much pitt meadows has grown.. but its still my home town? my dad was in the koren war and when he came home he met my mum i beilive they married in 59 not to sure.. my dad worked for esondale(river view) for 32 yrs till he retired in 1985 and my mum worked for safeway i think for 31yrs she also retired in 1985 were dad had his passion for golf really took off...he loved playing everyday he was a member of meadow gardens golf course..and my mum just liked being at home ? thank you for a wonderful webpage and i love seeing past pictures really warms my heart.. darcee hodgson
