The Pitt Meadows Heritage and Museum Society wish to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude towards Gwen O’Connell for her many years of service as our City Representative at the Museum. Today was her last meeting with us, and we wanted to acknowledge our appreciation for her and all of her hard work and dedication.

It takes a lot to listen and provide helpful guidance while not overstepping and Gwen knows how to do that with grace. She has brought a wonderful voice to our discussions at board meetings and has helped with countless items behind the scenes. We are eternally grateful that she chose to be our City Representative for years. She has served on Council for 26 years, showcasing her devotion to our small community.

Staff and Board Members want to give a large thank you to Gwen and wish her the best in her retirement (although we hope we will still see her around!).

Pitt Meadows is Pitt Meadows because of the people that are here, and Gwen is one of those people that make our community special.
