Summer 2026

We’re gearing up for a fun filled summer at the Museum.

Hours

Starting after Pitt Meadows Day, the General Store Site of the Pitt Meadows Museum will be open Wednesday to Sunday 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Hoffmann Site will be open on Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

Starting June 24th, the Hoffmann Site will also move into its summer hours and be open Wednesday and Friday to Sunday 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

Summer hours continue all the way until the end of August!

Pitt Meadows Day – June 6th

11431 Bonson Road (Pitt Meadows Athletic Park)

The real summer kick off, this is the 85th Annual Pitt Meadows Day! A day filled with community celebration and fun, we encourage everyone to join in on all the festivities from the Lions pancake breakfast, to the parade, to the fun booths, to the drone show at the end of the day! It’s sure to be a memorable event!

Drop by our booth during the event to partake in our bug takeover! We’re bringing out the bugs with our fun themed craft, bug mini books, and the history of George Doerksen (our “bug” guy). For those who aren’t fans of creepy crawlies, we will have all of our regular fun too including our hands-on items!

For more information visit the City of Pitt Meadows’ website here.

Airport Day - June 20th

18799 Airport Way (Pitt Meadows Airport)

We’re taking to the skies… no wait, we’re not really (some of us get motion sick). We’re joining the airport at Airport Days! We will be bringing some fun hands on items to play with, a small craft, and some history! Be sure to join in on the fun from 11:00 to 4:30 pm!

For more information about the event, check out YPK’s website here.

Canada Day – July 1st

11985 Harris Road (Spirit Square)

We’re joining the City at their annual Canada Day celebrations in Spirit Square. We will be bringing a Canada Day themed craft, some hands-on items (like our rotary phone and slinky- our favourites) and of course the history. The fun runs from 9:00 to 2:00 pm!

For more information about the event, check out the City of Pitt Meadows website here.

Heritage Thursdays – July 9th to August 13th

12294 Harris Road (General Store Site of the Museum)
Our classic Heritage Thursdays program returns for it’s 30th year?! A fan favourite (and staff favourite too) started in 1996, we’re ready to welcome everyone back for more Museum fun! This years theme is “If we could turn back time”. Kids get to enjoy a fun history lesson, make a craft or two, engage in some fun activities and have a healthy snack!

Heritage Thursdays run on Thursdays from July 9th to August 13th from 1-3 p.m. for a fee of $10 per child. For more information click here.

Country Fest – July 24th to 26th

23448 Jim Robson Way (Albion Fairgrounds - Maple Ridge)

We couldn’t be more excited to join up with our good friends at the Maple Ridge Museum to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the fair! Drop by at our booth anytime during the event. More information to come!
