Deck the Halls

We’re officially getting decorated and ready to greet our guests for the holidays on November 26th! We’re trimming the tree, singing holiday songs, and putting up all our traditional décor to welcome you into the Museum this season. This is officially our kick-off to the holidays!

After we’ve decked the halls, we will have our holiday look and find available for our guests. We will also have hands-on items that can help you get an idea of what went into decorating for the holidays in the past! We have pomanders and popcorn strings that you can help us make for our tree! We will also have a craft table set up with some colouring for you to take part in during the holiday season.

CPKC Holiday Train

The CPKC Holiday Train is back! This year it pulls into Pitt Meadows on December 17th at 8:55! We keep our one of our sites open to greet all the visitors who attend the train. It is a good moment to come inside from the cold and warm up while learning about Pitt Meadows! Just look for the open doors and lights on and come inside.

The CPCK Holiday train has been decked out in Christmas lights and stops right on Harris Road beside the Museum. It has a beautiful light show and then musicians who entertain the crowd. Unfortunately, there is no riding the train it is all meant to be enjoyed from the safety of the street. (Don’t forget Harris Road shuts down before the event so arrive early!)

We will also have a craft table and some stickers to colour! Drop by from 7:30 P.M. to just after the train departs to enjoy the warmth and cheer of the Museum!

Don’t forget to bring your foodbank donation!

For more information click here. (*Please note: We will be open in the evening to accommodate the train, we will not be open our regular hours on this date).
