Fall into the Holidays

We’re getting ready for the Holidays early here at the Museum! Start the festive season here and be sure not to miss our jam packed Holiday season!

Drop on by during Sundays for our ever-popular Museum Sundays! The kits are offered on Sundays, but we always have a limited number so come early to not be disappointed. Any extra kits will be available during our open hours, and we will try and keep our social media updated as to whether we have any kits available. These kits are available by donation.

After our Deck the Halls program, our galleries will be decorated for the holidays for anyone who wants to come in and get in the spirit! We will have traditional Christmas crafts, and our look and find!

November 20^th – Deck the Halls – We’re getting ready to celebrate here at the Museum! Drop on by to help us decorate, string a popcorn garland, create a pomander, and just start the holidays off with some relaxing fun!

November 27^th – Home for the Holidays – Museum Sunday Kit: We’re bringing back one of our favourites, putz houses. These little houses can be placed anywhere to add a little bit of festive flair, or gift them to a friend and spread the holiday joy!

December 2^nd – Christmas in Pitt Meadows – Join us at the city celebration to really kick off the holidays! This free event runs from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in spirit square and the family rec centre. We will bring a little craft, extra craft kits to take home, and the history as always! Drop on by and say hi. Don’t forget your foodbank donation! December 4^th – Let it snow! – Museum Sunday Kit: This cute little craft makes a little glitter shaker. A little snowman friend and glitter snow is the greatest gift, especially when the Lower Mainland usually lacks snow.

December 11^th – My Christmas Card to You – Museum Sunday kit: Another favourite, glitter cards! Decorate these little cards and give them out to your friends and family, spread the holiday spirit!

December 17^th 8:55 p.m. – C.P. Holiday Train – This classic is back! We open the General Store Site to the public and allow everyone to warm up while looking at our exhibits and galleries. December 18^th – Christmas Leftovers – Museum Sunday kit: As we wind down our season at the Museum any leftover holiday fun will be put into kits available for you to take home and enjoy over your winter break! *Note these will be available technically starting from the 11^th

Victorian Christmas Candle Kit

It’s back! This small kit is available again to the public, this year it contains enough to make two little candles, a craft tutorial booklet, and a small Victorian inspired craft! This is not something you want to miss! $5.00 per kit! For more information click here.
