This fall we are getting prepared to welcome you back once more into the Museum! We drop down hours but increase the events!

 

Fall Hours (General Store Site): Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

 

Join us for our Culture Days events on September 24th, October 1st, and October 15th running from 1-4 p.m. For a special in-house event of some fun crafts to commemorate moments in life. We’re making tree ring prints, animatron bugs, ship in a bottle, and animal biomes! This is a fun drop-in event that is free to attend. Don’t forget to look through the Museum while you’re here!

Our Halloween classic returns. We’ve let the dolls run wild this year, and they’re ready to greet you again… but be careful they bite!

 

M.A.D. arrives October 29th from 12 - 6 p.m. where we have our scavenger hunt in one of Pitt Meadows oldest and most haunted buildings. Drop on in and take part in our ghoulish crafts, take a picture in front of our witches’ station, and of course don’t forget to dine with our skeleton friend… but maybe don’t eat his food.

 

If you can’t join in on the fun on the day, we have more friendly times awaiting those little ghouls. From October 25th to November 1st during our regular open hours, we will have the M.A.D. scavenger hunt and craft table out and ready to greet our little friends. This time we leave all the lights on, the Museum is well lit and there are no scary things lurking in the corner to frighten.

Calling all junior ghost hunters! The Pitt Meadows Museum needs your help! Join museum staff and guest ghost hunters Gina and Victoria from Haunted History BC for a free Halloween event! Get ready to search for ghosts in the Thirteen Ghosts scavenger hunt. After they’re done ghost hunting, they will be able to select one free pumpkin per family to take home! October 29th during our Museum After Dark program, drop by early to avoid missing out!

Although not an event held at the Museum, we encourage everyone to go out and observe Remembrance Day in any way and in any place.
