Roy Kaita and Lil Shimoda

This interview was done by the Pitt Meadows Museum with Roy Kaita and Lil Shimoda in 2016.

Akira Roy Nagamatsu

In this video, Roy recounts stories from his youth including the time he spent in Pitt Meadows before being uprooted. It was produced by the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre in 2019.

Jiro Kamiya 

This interview was done between the Burnaby Village Museum and Jiro Kamiya with his son Frank. Although it focuses on the creation of a traditional ofuro bathhouse exhibit, Jiro does talk about his background and experiences.
