��Young Curators: Youth Volunteer Program

The Museum takes on youth volunteers throughout the year, and the work done can qualify for high school volunteer/work experience credits. Youth volunteer opportunities include:

• Curatorial (museum) jobs

• Office jobs like scanning, typing, and transcribing

• Help plan and monitor Museum Sundays & "Heritage Thursdays" for kids and families

• Special events like Museum after Dark, Pitt Meadows Day, Country Fest, and Canada Day

• Building and fixing around the museum

• Old fashioned ice cream making

• Exploring books, old time crafts, and cooking

• Mentoring younger children
