Student Jobs

Every May, the Museum hires students at our two sites to run programs. They greet the public, work in collections, organize special events and outreach.  Funding for students is through grants from the Government of Canada, Youth Employment Strategy, and Young Canada Works (YCW).  Positions are posted on the YCW website and on the Service Canada Job Board. Summer job descriptions are also available through the Museum after the end of March. Potential summer students must meet the requirements of the grant program.

This year we have two positions available, one YCW and one CSJ. Each position has requirements regarding the grant that you must meet. Employment runs from mid to late June until mid-August. For more information or to apply please contact us.

Additional positions for high school-aged volunteers and small paid contracts may also be available each year. For more information about volunteer and short-term contracts, contact the Museum.
